The main residential area of Lesnoe Ozero sits on a small peninsula with excellent views of the lake. The facility used to be a resort, so the cabins are comfortable, with bathrooms, showers and a common living area. Our site features authentic pine log cabins housing between six and 14 people per cabin, typically in bedrooms sleeping four people each. Each cabin features one or two private bathrooms with showers shared by the participants and staff living in that cabin. Please pack wisely as there is limited storage space.
The two-story, sun-filled cabins are fully furnished, so you will have plenty of table space for lessons and games. The cabins also have kitchens for cooking activities. The charming living areas provide a place where you can sit and chat or read a book in front of a cozy, woodstove — just like in a real Russian cottage!
Living quarters, activity spaces, and the health center are in several centrally located cabins on the site. The cabin area is connected to the main building, which includes dining hall, village store, and additional activity space, by a short road and seven-minute walk. Other highlights of the site include a beautiful beach and several nature trails.
